Problem with a MS28

I used Iprep and NTFS. and a Via card.
I do a DSAM, do the 10 second thing, works fine.
Reboot.
360 on.
MTKFLASH list drives.
360 off.
pick the drive, it says port 8000.
No matter how long or short I wait, it never goes anywhere past that screen.
So I try rsam. Samething.

When I plug the drive back in to the 360, I get a red ring in the lower right. On the screen I get a E65 error.

What the heck did I do and how do I fix it?

I just used my original firmware and wrote the key to the hacked 1.4 firmware using samtool. Now that I have a hacked 1.4 firmware with the right key, what method would you suggested for getting that firmware on the drive?

EDIT: I just tried mtkflash w /m /sata ix14.bin. I get the same problem.

I start it with the 360 on.
Get two the list, turn the 360 off.
Pick it in the list.
Wait 3-15 seconds.
Turn 360 on.

It says:
Port 8000, Master/Slave: a0
and never changes or does anything else.
