1. Make a small hole and put a 80mm fan, next to the dvd drive, or make a big hole and put a 120mm fan over the top of the console. Its gonna be sticking out though

That 80 won't fit there unless you put it on the outside or cut the cpu heatsink. If you have the newest gpu heatsink then that will be in your way also.

ok i'll put it outside, but if i get a smaller one the bad thing is that it won't cool that well. And what v ac/dc adaptor ddo i have to use for the 80mm

cool. i'm in the process of slapping on a 12omm fan. can't u just tap it to the power source for stock fans? and what's the best tool to cut the case?

Do that mod, it will run about 20 degrees cooler with the stock fan at 5v.

I use wirecutters then bend the sharp parts in towards the fans.

I just put a whisper fan in mine, also my xbox 360 is in a cooling dock with fans on the bottom. The air that comes out of fans is cool and the fans don't make that much noise. Also the fans and cooling dock light up so in the dark my 360 looks cool. I did this because I am still under warranty.
