hey guys...

i need to short the d2b jumper on my v5 wii-clip...how do i do this?

ya, no...this is why i posted on here...i found that link...but i am a simple man with no background in this type of stuff. i'm just looking to see what shorting a jumper involves. does it involve soldering?

so back to you my friend.

Shorting a jumper involves soldering. You are connecting two pads or location on a printed circuit board with a wire using solder.

You should probably find someone with soldering experience to help you with this as it will save you from buying tools and materials (soldering iron, solder, and wire)

If you look at the picture underneath step 1, (the one with the green "F" balloon", look at the two copper pads (look like a circle/oval with a line through it, or two half circles) that are at the 7 o'clock position from the B in D2B.

You will need to put a small piece of wire across those pads and a small dot of solder to connect or bridge) across the gap between the two half circles.

It's a 60 second job if you have the tools and expertise, about $20.00 USD in tools and parts and the possibility of damaging the board if you don't.
