Greetings.

I've been researching ways to run ISO's on my PSP >> long story short I discover I need to make the Pandora battery/MMS.

Now; after researching the battery I found a few posts/videos explaining that by cutting a wire inside the PSP battery, I can make it into a Pandora battery.

After I cut the wire, my PSP is supposed to turn on by itself as soon as I put the battery back into the PSP.

Now; I've cut the wire carefully; making sure there is absolutely no connection from A to B left; but the PSP does not turn on by itself.

The battery still works, and real UMD games still run on it, as if I didn't do anything at all.

Is there some step I am missing?

-I am working on a PSP 2000 slim
-Official 4.05
-Wire on battery is cut > absolutely no change in operation

Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks in advance ^^

if it's official 4.05 out of the box, you're out of luck. if it's 3.90 or lower that was upgraded to 4.05, then it's the battery.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Out of the box it was not 4.05... I put in Star Ocean and it prompted me to upgrade to 4.05... I didn't think anything of it and went ahead.

Unfortunatly, I didn't bother to check what version it was before the upgrade...

this is guide to check if you have the TA-088 mother board. From what i understand from the guide is TA-088 v1 and TA-088 v2 is hackable... But if you have TA-088 v3, then there is no way to mod it...
I got a new psp slim with ofw 4.01, but i am not sure if mine has TA-088 v3 mother board...

Apperently I'm a total nub and don't know where to look to find this bar code <.<

Atleast, not one simular to the picture found in the link "iamafreak" posted.....

The only barcode I can find on my PSP is on the bottom, reading AB############-PSP2001.

Alright: It's a differnt shaped box than the one in the picture provided, but I assume that doesn't matter in the slightest.

There are two barcodes on the back of the box > nither of which have the letter G. The only two letters are "A" and "B".

Does this help my situation at all?
