The plan was to spend 800 but if it cost a little more to get a system that can play the most up to date games.. I don't mind

Anyone see compatibility issues? Do you think this thing will be outdated next month? any suggestions?

I am considering dropping the sli nonsense and getting one GTX 280 and a budget case and power supply to offset the cost... It will prob only cost between $50-100 more.

Spend the extra 10$ to get the 7200.11 version of the HDD. It runs a lot quieter. It also has double the cache but won't affect things all that much.

That link for the memory is broken, recently I have got to know a good deal on memory, the Crucial 4GB PC2-6400 DDR2 dual channel memory kit for $20. That's quite good price, you can get it.
