If I buy a new 360 now, will I probably get a Lite-on drive that can't be flashed normally? Should I look for a 360 that has been manufactured before a certain date to get one of the older drives?

just buy the lite-on 360 and buy another drive off of ebay that is moodable to replace it.

Every friend of mine who has bought a 360 in the past 3-4 months, or had one repaired, had the lite-on drive.

I had to find a friend who would trade theirs for mine and 20$, because theirs was BenQ
