I am considering getting the pinnacle PCTV deluxe 2.0 USB is anyone using this? Is it worth the Money? I used to have a PVR on my dish satellite and I loved it. If I get the PCTV I would like to take all of our 8MM analog video and convert it to DVD some vhs stuff but not much. And I would like to capture some digital quality stuff off the dish.Is this device capable? How is the quality for 8MM vhs and digital? I already have a GeForce 5200 AGP w/128 megs of onboard RAM, and I only have one PCI slot left thats why I am considering the external USB type device. I do not have firewire and it would most likely use my last PCI to install it. If you have experience with the PCTV deluxe I would be very grateful for some feedback. Thanks to all.
P.S. My toshiba SD-R 5002 burner pooched after only 6 months but tech support sent me a new one and I am back to making backups.
