i have a wii 3.3U i want to downgrade it 2 3.2 or 3.1 but i cant some ppl said you cant cuz it blocks wads..sooo if we can can u guys tell me wt 2 do i downloaded the wad manager and Cios downgrader and i dont know what else 2 do like how to download the firmare 3.2 and what files 2 make in my sd card and stuff like tht

i DID ALL THE THINGS BUT I GET AN ERROR WHILE INSTALLING THE WAD

WAD CANNOT BE INSTALLED RET=2011

When was the last time you updated?

The original 3.3 update did not block the instillation of wads. The only update that blocked wads from being installed was the October 23rd update which you can only get by downloading it (no game disc have this update yet).

So if you did not update via the Internet on October 23rd or after then you should not have the newest update that blocks wad files from being installed.

If you did update with the newest October 23rd update then follow the guide I linked to.

If you didn't or if you have issues with the above guide then you might have an SD CARD that is not compatible. Also make sure you format the SD CARD as FAT 16 (default format setting in windows).

Three problems I see here:

1) The downgrader is not a wad. It is a .dol as is most homebrew, including the wad manager that it seems you're still having trouble with.

2) There are 2 versions of 3.3. Only the second one blocks wads and you said in your other thread that you had not updated since that came out.

3) If you DID have that second version of 3.3 then you couldnt downgrade either as it blocks that too.

He is probably trying to install the IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad so he can then install the cISO to downgrade (thats if he is folowing the guide properly).

You can downgrade to 3.2 even if you have the new 3.3 Oct 23rd update. I gave him the link on how to work around it above.

I was working on the assumption that he didnt follow the directions in your link, or even likely read them.

He also said in his other thread that he hadn't updated with the new update, so I dont think that was the problem anyway.

I finally figured out that this is the tard that said they where to lazy to look for stuff themselves.

It is hard to help someone that won't take the time to read things or research for themselves. Instead they rush through stuff and end up not knowing their a$$ from their elbow.

Nooo thts nt wt am telling you am saying that when i try to install a wad its nt allowing me and btw larllyi the guide u gave me had no meaning it just started use wii scrubber..wts tht give me steps from the begining am a newb at these stuff plzzz

It has allot of meaning if you read and follow the directions properly. It shows you how to install a cISO to the Wii System after the October 23rd update so you can then downgrade it. That is what you asked for and that is what I gave you.

Plus I get tired of newbies using the excuse that they are newbs and need extra special care. Everyone on this site at 1 point was a newb. We gained or knowledge by reading the stickied/previous threads to gain or knowledge.

You or anyone else should be no different. If you feel overwhelmed by the guides I or any one else have provided then maybe you need to drop what you are doing and spend some time researching to get a better knowledge of the Wii mod scene before continuing.

Ok ok can u tell me exactly where 2 put the folders and files exactly on my SD card...cuz am ganna use Twilight hack 2 downgrade nt homebrew cuz i dont have it installed and i dont want it
