I just updated my Hitachi 79L thanks to Podger's unlock.

I was just a little confused, does that mean I have the 1.4 version of the ixtreme firmware? I didn't choose any firmware while using toolbox, so I'm guessing I don't..

What's the benefit for having it, if I don't? Also, should I relatively safe going on live, assuming I don't play any of those prerelease (seed4me) games? Thanks for the info!

not sure on what FW you currently have, however, your days on live are numbered, so enjoy then while you have it. wasnt to smart to update now with a massive banning going on. should have waited a little bit longer. but oh well, to each his own.

Thanks for the info! I haven't gone on live yet. I should be fine if I just wait until whatever new FW comes out and then go on, right?

Also does it help at all to format the HD? The info on what i've played and such has to be stored there, right?
