I have a d2e wii with a d2sun v3.x chip installed. I've got the d2sun set to NTSC-USA on the chip with jumpers. All NTSC games play fine. Pal games obviously do not play and ask for the update. I've used brickblocker and regionfrii both to mod the ISO's.

My wii sees these games afterwards and does not ask for the update but the wii freezes immediately after I click start on the disk channel. I can eject the disk after it freezes but it won't turn off... I have to unplug it to get the wii to function again.

I've tried burning the games to different media : verbatim maxell tdk all DVD-r at 4x

Any ideas guys I've tried searching to see if this is a known issue with a simple fix but I can't find anything

Not all games are region compatible. HERE is a region compatibility list.

Some just will not work no matter what you do but you can get a higher compatibility rate if you boot them with GeckoOS.

You boot GeckoOS via Twilight Princess Hack or install the Homebrew Channel and boot GeckoOS via that.

Some games can also have issues when WiiBrickBlocked. So this could be the issue also.
