I have had this wiikey sitting around forever and I almost forgot that I had it! well I decided to crack the wii open and give it a shot, only to discover that my wii is GC2-D2C and the legs are not cut. so how do I use this wiikey now? it has 6 places to solder but one of the pins I need isnt where it should be... any help?

A Wiikey will not work on a D2C chipset. You will need a Wiikey 2 or D2Pro9 version 2.

Or

You could use the new Wiigator boot launcher 0.3 Beta.

Modchips are still more superior then a boot launcher but they are making leaps and bounds and the compatibility is pretty high. It is also a nice alternative for users that don't have a Modchip and can't afford a new 1.

crap i didnt even realize I bought the wrong kind of modchip then... damnit now I need to find somebody that wants it thanks

ah in order to do this with wiigator I need to rent a copy of twilight princess... whats the difference between Wiigator and GeckOS?

WiiGator boot loader boots backups. GeckoOS boots out of region disc/backup disc (modchip needs to be installed).
