I am going to buy a Xbox 360 Arcade ver. on black friday(hope i could get a good price)! but the problem is i don't know how to modify it. Does anyone could tell me how to modify by myself or where i could modify it? and how much i need to pay on it?? thanks a lot!!!

that article is completely worthless for this guys situation..

buying a brand new xbox on black friday he's almost 100% guaranteed to be getting a liteon... which isn't even mentioned in the article you linked... so the expenses involved and the process will be completely different.

yea, if you get a lite-on drive its probably going to cost your around 50 dollars for someone to flash it, plus another 50-60 for a new drive for the console since you cant flash the lite-ons, you can only read the FW from it and flash it to a different drive. however, if you do manage to get something that isnt a lite-on flashing will run you from 30 dollars (what i charge AD members) to upwards of 50+.

If you don't get a lite-ons then read up and learn to flash your own. You could always buy one with the RROD off ebay fix it and flash it yourself which is what I did and I have very little computer knowledge.

Look on craigslist on the electronics section, i remember there was few guy there that were advertising themselves. Also i bought a premodded one from a guy on there, maybe he can mod it for you as well (i'm from l.a btw)
