i have a messed up slim battery from madden special psp bundle(v2000)
it got messed up by-
first of all i have a cfw phat psp and a ofw 3.90 psp (madden special)
-i used the universal file way and did everything on the guide for an mms(1gb mms)
-i put the slim battery in my cfw psp and then i used the os pandora battery tool, backup battery eepromto ms0:/eeprom.bin and then flash only serial from ms0:/eeprom.bin (0xffffffff)
-now my slim battery doesnt work at all, nothing works, even though it fits in my slim ofw, the battery symbol in the top right corner doesnt show and it doesnt power the slim psp
what should i do to get it back?

sounds like you fried the battery, did you try restoring the battery to normal with the original eeprom with your cfw psp? I thought slim batteries could not be soft-modded anyway?

Are you just getting the green power light with a blank screen when you put the battery in your slim? That is what would happen if you had a working pandora battery. Do you have the MMS inserted as well? I think you have to hold the L trigger button while inserting the battery.

If that doesn't work then plug the charger into your fat psp with that slim battery, and try to run that program to restore the eeprom so it will function as a normal battery again.

Oh-OK so you converted it back to a normal battery already? Then I will have to say your battery is F'd. You could try restoring it with a generic serial from that pandora program. Otherwise,it looks like you will be in the market for a new battery.

slim batteries cant be softmodded...least not the latest ones. The ones from when the slim was first released could be but that was a while back and i'm pretty sure the madden psp wasnt out at that time, so you probably just fried your battery.

That's what I figured about the newer slim batteries too-that they couldn't be soft-modded.

You could use the battery from your fat psp to pandora your slim-provided that its not one of those newer fat batteries that can't be softmodded either. Either way,it looks like you will need a new battery for your slim for sure, and possibly a ready-made pandora if the fat battery doesn't work out.

nothing but the sony batteries are the best. most ebay ones are cheap no name ones, and don't even hold the double capacity it states.

and that one won't fit in the slim, if you don't have the extended battery cover.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

you're not gonna find the fat ones new anymore, since the fat psp's are discontinued. same with the extended battery kit.

either get them used from a video game store, look elsewhere, like craigslist, or start saving up for the slim battery.
