My pc is running on a wireless card. Just for fun I am hooking my 360 up to my pc monitor. Since I don't have a wireless card for the 360, I was thinking of just connecting the pc and 360 together with an ethernet cable. Will doing this allow me to get onto xbox live? GeekSquad said it would but it's a pain in the ass (assumably to configure).
Some tell you to use a crossover cable, some tell you to bridge connections. I think i'll try it for you when i get home and see if i have any problems. You don't need to reset anything.
Next question lol... My monitor has 2 inputs. The 360 is on VGA and the pc is on DVI, both working great. Is there a way to switch between the to sources without buying a "switcher box". Kinda a pain in the as to keep pulling plugs on the monitor.
