There is a much cheaper solution than buying a new graphics card. I bought a kvm switch, and just use the monitor portion of it. It has a button on it so when i want to switch i just press that button and it works flawlessly. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817399021 that one specifically, and now i no longer have to switch my cables manually. You will also need the vga video cable for the 360 if you don't already have it.
I do have the vga cable for the xbox in fact. I was thinking, my monitor got 1 vga entry and 1 dvi entry, and I need to connect 2 vga. I saw this vga/dvi adaptor... would that work? Would I loose any quality with the adaptor?
Yea it should work as long as it has a female dvi end and female vga (vga end from tower or 360 plugs into it and it plugs into dvi on monitor), unless you have a long dvi cable then you could go the witha male dvi end and female vga. And you shouldn't lose any quality at all since you are going from dvi to vga, the dvi is actually a better quality so there won't be any loss (however you also won't get any gain in quality either).
