i want to mod my xbox for the first time. i dont need help wit the process but i would like to know if its wiser to wait for the new firmware. if i do wait any idea of when it will come out, like a vague estimate. 1 week? 2 weeks? month? i dont expect u to know but i want an estimate/opinion please.

At the moment, microsoft is banning modded xboxes. My recommendation is to wait since nobody knows what they are using to detect the mod. Wait until the new firmware. It comes out when it comes out, but it's worth not having to buy a new game because you happen to leave your disc on the wrong side and it got some scratches making it unusable. Longest it will probably be is 3 months, shortest is 1 week after the new launch of the dashboard.
