ok i keep getting a error after the stealth check is passed when it is verifying against the online database, it says attempting to get goblygook.ini from online verified database
ERROR: the requested url returned error 404
failed to find a verified ini file for this xex/ss combination

verification failed

now heres what googling for the last hour has taught me;

1) most releases have this abgx output in thier nfos making searching hard going
2) 404 is web talk for a missing webpage
3)xex is the executable file of the game (the .exe if you will)
4) ss is short for security sector
5) changing auto fix thresh hold to level 3 will fix the iso image (if its not yet buned)
6) changing auto fix thresh hold to level 3 will corrupt your game image and cause it to be unplayable
7)changing auto fix thresh hold to level 3 will make your game "apear" fixed but is the cause of the bans

also if it says dmi failed then you auto fix and scan again and this time its ok does that really mean its fixed or what

if a disc scan fails can i rip the disc back to the hd and then autofix or do i have to redownload?

it seems proper use of abgx360 gui might save us from future bans but these things i cant get my head around please help

an example, first scan of fallout 3

Some games may have good stealth, but bad game data. Some times they can't be fix in abgx360. When that's the case you'll need to re-rip the ISO or re-download a different one.

so does anyone have any solid information on abgx360 gui? anybody autofixed all there games and still been banned?
thanx in advance

well a bit more googling has helped a little correct me if im wrong please

1 if it shows the verification as 404 and when it tries to autofix the xex becomes 404 because abgx has not got a retail disc in thier database yet to compare it against

2 if all the checks are green including game data after autofix then its the same as having the retail disc in the drive

3 i can use imgburn to copy a backup from dvd dl to a image file on my hd then use abgx to make it like the retail then reburn it and it will be exactly like the retail disc

have i got any of these wrong ? again thnx in advance

Ok, I'm going to try and help you. I'll even go out of my way and post pics for you to follow just cause I'm a nice kinda guy every once in a while. Here's the settings I always use. It sucks you have to always select them and can't save your settings but oh well.

If I don't put a pic of a particular tab, it means leave it on default settings.

I'm still having this same issue also. I don't know why. I would think it might be like fallout 3 where the game isn't in the database yet, but then I tried the new madden, and it didn't download that either...

So if anyone knows, enlighten us!

Mine found everything so far except stuff that hasn't hit store shelves yet. The error you guys are getting is because the game isn't in the database.

I found it does save the settings, came back here to edit my earlier post and saw you guys telling me how. Thanks ;)

Hm.... that's odd.

I tried doing it with the New madden that was released in August, which I ripped from my kreon drive, so it was a legit copy. I would have to assume that that game is in the database....

odd that it isn't finding it.

ps2menace--

so since in your second picture it says to look at the online data base, then proceed to the offline files, is there an updated list of these offline files as i dont have the net at home, and dont feel like bringing the images of my games to work/college to check them out?

i've looked a little more and you can see madden is in the database here

the same thing is happening with fable 2. it won't check out with xdvdmulleter or agbx (and i see it in the DB) and it's a very popular game that has been out for a few weeks now.

Alright, I've been ripping and patching xbox 360 games since March. I've always used xdvdmulleter, but now I read its being canned and the database is useless. Hazzah! abgx360 comes into the forums. Now I haven't been keeping up with the latest patching methods since I got mine down, even posted a tutorial on here. I've used abgx360 a couple times, and have only gotten it to work once. Even then it gave me a dvd file that was only a couple kb so I didn't know what to do with it. So there's a couple questions in here.
1) do I still us schtrom360 to extract the .game file before auto-fixing
2) I've followed the instructions on abgx360, but I keep getting error 404 and therefore no patching. I've tried it on the direct wxripper iso and I've tried it on the .game extract iso, neither worked.

Now I know back in November xdvdmulleter had a database update, and I've seen word on an abgx360 update. Where is this update if it exists? Just before patching it does an update scan or something and says its all good.

Now I realize this is getting long winded, and I know it seems very basic, but I'd really appreciate some help on the matter. It's only been the last couple months there's been any problem.

ABGX can't fix a bad game CRC error... that means your data is corrupt and basically worthless...

all i can tell you is keep looking cause there is a release out there... i know because i have it and yes it does pass the game CRC check..

thats all the more i can say cause we aren't allowed to discuss piracy.

well here are exactly the rules in regards to piracy:

Quote:

Case examples regarding rule number five (5). No piracy.

Case: Pirated material, such as serial numbers and direct links to pirated, copyrighted material (including direct links to torrent files and ed2k links). PROHIBITED

Case: Posting "descrambling codes" or similar codes that allow unlicensed viewing of protected material. PROHIBITED

Case: Technical, in depth discussion about copy protection circumvention (i.e. cracking). PROHIBITED

Case: Discussion about pirated content and piracy, such as converting (downloaded) video and/or audio files to DVD/AudioCD/whatever format. PERMITTED

Case: Discussion about copy protection circumvention in general (extracting encrypted content, such as DVD movies, compact discs, copy protected console and computer software, using existing software). PERMITTED

Case: Links to sites offering possibly pirated content (including torrent files and ed2k links). PERMITTED

Unless I'm reading it incorrectly, I believe we are able to discuss releases, so I think you can name anything. But just don't post direct links to it which is the biggie.

So mods (creaky) correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it should be ok to name the release...

I'm not sure what to do. I got Dynasty Warriors Gundam and put it through abgx360. It it is telling me Verification failed and Autofix failed, stealth is still unverified. I'm not sure if it's any good or what, or what to do. Not sure if it'd be an obvious hit when I sign on to xbl in the future. Thanks for any help

From the info that I have gathered the DMI is the only one that would be different in some cases if it is a backup copy obtained legally it may be different because they are different and abgx360 will check it with the one that was obtained by from t specific copy which may not match your own, I have a bunch of backups not verified DMI...(legal personal backups)can anyone confirm this to be true? Thanks
