VERBATIM DVD-R OR DVD+R FOR WIIKEY 2

Is there any difference between using Verbatim DVD-R or Verbatim DVD+R for backups with a wiikey 2. Thanks

It depends who you talk to. Most people prefer -R's for wii games, but I've used both and seen no difference whatsoever.

Would the wiikey 2 be picky about the media it reads.I have Magnavox,maxwell and memorex backups I used on an older programmed chip with no problems but htey are not working with the wiikey 2 with a wii clip. Thanks

Its not the chip thats picky, its the wii. The drive in the wii is very picky on media. You're free to try whatever brands you want, and I've had pretty good luck with most of them. But generally I only use verbatum and sony disks.

I am currently using Sony DVD-R and they work 100% for me with my WiiKey 1.

I got Verbatim DVD+R and they work sometimes. sometimes it takes 5-15 retarts to get them started. gay
