Well with the release of the new dashboard on nov 19 how many of you think microsoft is going to far with this update!!!

Let me explain why i mentioned this.

I am currently beta testing the new dashboard and i have noticed that without xbox live gold or even silver that a lot of the features are online rigged.

You cannot even Create avatars without being connected to xbox live which i find is kinda rude especially if you dont have access to live and the game requires the avatar in order to play and yes microsoft has stated that several new games will use the avatar creation system later this next year.

installation on the hard drive isn't any better eather.

Let me explain why.

I decided to install halo 3 on my hard drive it took a total of 8 gig's of hard drive space to do so i really wanted to see if it was faster found out it took longer to load halo 3 from the hard drive then the dvd Wow this sucks i thought the very first level of the game took 15 minutes to load.

Not impressed with that i deleted it off of my hard drive.

So what is the deal why update if the dash is worthless without live.
