animal crossing city Folk safe?

I'm gonna buy the retail game of animal crossing city folk, and I am afraid it will have an update that will brick my wii. is the update safe?

Ok, first off you dont even know if the game will attempt to run an update. If your wii is already up to date it wont even try.

Secondly, you managed to ignore the hundreds of posts discussing wii's that get bricked from updates. The only time updating from a game is unsafe is when its an out-of-region game. So wnless you're ordering animal crossing from a different country you're fine.
