Since my Xbox went bad. I might buy a Xbox 360 that is banned from live,but dont jump on anyways, but my qestion is can I get the new Dashboard if Im banned from XBL.

Bear in mind i won't be modding my console, the update i linked to somewhere in there works and i signed up on XBL and had a few updates downloaded and it's working great, i'm just installing some games to the hard drive now..

you won't be able to get it through live, But I am sure you'll be able to download it like the other updates previously. I'm not sure if it is available for download yet or not.

Get a friend to bring over his hdd and plug it in to your console. It'll update the dash for you.

i have 2 360's, 1 is banned before fall update the other is not modded and has the fall update on it, is it safe to put the hdd from the unmodded one on the banned system so it will get the new dash update or will it somehow ban my unmodded system as well after putting it back on it.

Can you tell me where you got the leaked version from.
My Xbox that broke wasnt banned from XBL. Can I do a DVD swap from the one that was banned so it can work and still get on live or is the DVDF drive banned as well.

Can I take the good DVD drive that is in the banned console and put it into my xbox 360 that isnt bad. Just the drive is broken in my xbox 360,its not banned @ all. If there is an eaiser way please let me know

you can, but you have to flash the good drive with the bad drives key. otherwise it will only play dvds and cds

Can you tell me how to flash the good drive w/the bad drives key. is it hard. I was googling it and what I saw a bit complicated.

depends on what brand the drives are. but basically all you have to do is dump the FW from the good drive, open up firmware toolbox, and open up the FW from the crap drive that you should have saved somewhere on your computer and replace the broken drives FW with the good drives FW. then flash the good drive with the new drive.
i believe there is a section in textbooks guide that goes through this with some pictures that would help out a lot as its kind of hard to explain it with just words.
