luckily for me i installed it and i am getting much quicker load times. but you would think it would be one way or the other all the way accrost the board for everyone.
edit- have just read thru the article and to me, Bungie's argument about Halo 3 being released prior to hard drive game installs being available, is a little feeble to say the least. Maybe the hard drives just aren't quick enough. Ah well, to me it would only be a problem if delays are experienced during the actual gameplay.
