Is it Possible to Turn on WLan Without the Switch? I dropped my psp and the wlan switch got messed up. The switch moves up and down but it moves very loosely. Wlan still works but if I just touch it very lightly it says the wlan was turned off, then I have to take the battery out of the psp to get the wlan to work again. So Is it Possible to Turn on WLan Without the Switch?

im afraid mate, you may have to either get a replacemenet psp as without wlan you wont be able to do any form of wireless activity with the psp like searching the web or connecting with other psp systems. and to clarify the point you have to have wlan on when using the psp

If I were in your situation...instead of buying a new psp, open up the one you have and see if you can fix the problem. Might be something as simple as something being slightly out of place.
Or, as an alternate option while you're in there, find a way to turn the WLAN perma-on by opening it and rigging it up so it can't turn off. I.E. super glue, tape, piece of wire, whatever it takes. This is assuming you use your psp's wireless connection a lot and can justify having it on at all times.
I myself have been connected to a network one time the entire time I've owned my PSP and it was just to test it out and see what it could do. I bought it a portable gaming/video utility and I bought my laptop for surfing the net :P

My 2 cents.

You know I give you the mad, phat, superfly, stupid-dope, dumb-ass, retarded, bomb-sh*t props!
What else do you want from me!?!

Dark_Alex...mad love and thanks for giving this community so much and asking for so little.

I managed to get it working by opening the psp, pushing it the switch up and putting tape on it. It fell again. tried fixing it again, this time it didnt work. i put something to make it stay up and no luck.
