Noob question i know, but i havent even touched my psp since the old umd emulator from 2 years ago. (still at ver 1.50) Now i want to play ff7 crisis core and was wondering what i will need to do to play it. (without upgrading of course) Also if there is an auto installer or easier one to install plz let me know so i can save myself the headache.

As far as emulators go...there's a shit ton man. You gotta be WAY more specific then that.

1)you don't emulate PSP games on a psp...

2)wanting to know the most recent CFW only to state you dont want to update to it is a redundant post.

Take some time and be a little more diligent in your thread titles and posts. That being said...

Upgrade to 5.00 M33-3. You don't need anything other then that to play crisis core.

If you have CFW already installed then just download this 5.00 M33-3 update file prepacked with 5.00 OFW I made and follow the instructions for updating your psp. Will take you all but 5 minutes to do.

From there just drop your ISO/CSO into your ISO folder on your mem stick and play away.
