Hi all,
thought id give this a try as all other avenues seem to have dried up -- ive just installed the D2CKey + WII-CLIP onto my wii - everything went fine and no smoke came out (which is always nice). the consoles still plays normall games fine but for some reason has trouble with the backups. they are burnt off in ISO formate.
9 times out of ten - the games will crash the console during loading, or i get an error message saying please eject the disk and reset console then consolt user manual (great help). but never does this with the normall ones. every game shows up on the main dash board!!

ANY IDEAS??????????? :-(

Are you sure you have working backups? Chances are that it's a media issue. It's been said a hundred times here. Use verbatim DVD-Rs at 1x or 2x. The wii has issues reading cheap media, DVD+Rs, and fast burned DVDs.

Make sure it is defiantly a D2C drive.

If it is a DMS/D2A/D2B/D2C2/D2E drive then the D2CKey is not compatible.

Check the chipset where you clip the Wii-Clip onto. Make sure it says D2C (even then it could be D2C2).

If it says D2C then make sure it is not a D2C2 drive by looking at the images I have provided in this link HERE.

If your drive board matches anything on the images in the above link then you have a D2C2 drive and will need a diffrent compatible modchip.

If it is a D2C then make sure you have the region jumper settings set.
