Hello i have just purchased a 360 Arcade (Brand new)

Im sure it has a benq drive, i have an ASUS K8V mobo which has 4 sata ports and when i connect the benq on port D400 and run the cmd DosFlash r D400 1 a0 1 4 a:\orig.bin 0 Anser yes 0x7F then it flashes 0xD1 and 0x51

I ran the cmd DosFlash (automode) and it shows the drive on port (0) D400 and says unknown flash chip, same with DosFlash32

I have read that the VIA VT8237 is compatible.

here is a link to a thread about a new BenQ/Liteon drive revision.

Dosflash doesnt read, it gets to the usual y/n to resend commands. Hit Y it will do the normal 51/D1 when I cut power and turn it back on, then the code changes to 52/D2 and will not read.
