Installed according to the tutorial, got red then blue light, put 'er back together, and it cannot read back-ups. Originals are fine but no back-ups. Keep in mind that is ALL I have done, is there something else that needs to be done besides just the install of the chip? I am new to this, its the first Wii I have touched so please forgive me. I am sure I am missing a crucial step.
Hey i have a similar problem have you emailed your supplier ?? i have a d2pro and copy with imgburner on datarite discs when i start up the wii i have a red light on the chip so i have touched various points together first L then M and hold for 10 seconds then the games play but until i hear from my supplier i not gonna solder those 2
Huh, I posted a response but it didn't get through. Oh well, anyways, took the wii apart again and now the chip is flashing red, blue, then a constant red. I guess there are some issues with it. Gmodz offered to install it for free, can you believe that? I went ahead and did the TP hack and everything works fine. BTW if you are using DVD+R's, you MUST set book type to DVD-ROM!
