i am comparing the Xbox 360 and the PS3 for a I.T assignment.
I believe in my own opinion that the Xbox 360 is the better console of the two. Both of them are extremeley popular over the world. With the Xbox 360 selling over 5 million more consoles world wide than the PS3.
The PS3 has the advantage of being able to view Blu Ray Dvds, which is something that the Xbox 360 cannot do. The Xbox 360 has a wider range of games, but means the best of it can be reached by pretty much anyone who wants to buy a games console.
The PS3 is the more popular of the two, with sony being the main achiever in the console world. This is down to the fact that microsoft have only recently brought out the Xbox.
The PS3 is aimed at the future, with the use of Blu Ray Dvds being able to watch on the console.
