homebrew for 5.00 M33-3?

Hey, mxjf here, i was just wondering something. I just installed dark alex's 5.00 M33-3 CFW on my psp. most of the homebrew i am downloading doesnt work. what do i need to look for when finding homebrew to make sure it will work with my firmware? (HEN,eboot,or flash etc.)

also, when i get homebrew, sometimes it has 2 folders insidd the zip labeled 1.00 and 1.50. and sometimes it will have 2 folders and one has a weird symbol like a % or & at the end, which one of those do i use?
