I didn't know if this went here or in hardware the usb cable i made is hardware but the xbox is softmodded.

is there a way to put apps like xbox media center/emulators/dashboards/ other apps, on the xbox with out using ftp or burning an iso.

could i use a usb drive somehow or anything else to connect to the xbox via usb

i cant burn iso and i dont have a cross over cable
i have two ethernet cables could i just splice one and cross the colored wires
