Starview 3 super box - first time set up

Hi,
I have a genuine starview 3 super box and have uploaded the software to the box through GTRom_Super_6.01e and it has uploaded successfully.
Now I need to connect to the TV i.e. first time set up ? Do I just follow the standard instructions for the other starview boxes? Many thanks. Hope this works!

Phil the latest FW for the box super is 7.09 if your in Ireland and 8.00 for the UK, you'll find these at the link below,

thanks - do I just upload the 8.00 to the box over the previous version of software then?

Yea, just upload to box then connect to tv, have you done other starviews its basically the same. choose language, installation, make sure you have correct provider, then automatic scan. when all channels are brought in go back into menu 1570, turn emu on, set default key, exit, go to s** spo**s and wait for it to come in, if you have any probs come back and get help. let us know how you get on.

maybe you can help me, i have the same box,
when i autoscan I USED to pick up sky sports123 and other channels but they would be scrambled, ive been trying to sort it, but must of done something wrong as they dont appear at all now when I autoscan. I still get all the unscrambled channels i did before, but really wanna get sky sports123 and some more sky movie channels i dont get.
any ideas??

HI All
Got a Starview 3 box yesterday, but the thing aint working
I have done the 1570 thing, turned EMU key on but nothing is happening. Channels are coming up as in the program listings but no picture, Some channels say scrambled and others say updating, but nothing happens with the updating, any help would be GREATLY appreciated. System info says version 7.0, July 07(off the top of my head, I can double check tomorrow).
NTL ireland if that helps.
Any help??

ive updated my box but now it wont find any chanels if it does it says chanel changed or scrambled or bad chanel even on bbc 1 2

If it is the Starview 3 The Box Super, then have you flashed it with the 8.04 Firmware above, and double check that you have the Live Cable feed going in to the Cable Input socket, do Factory Reset and a Fresh Installation/Automatic scan on your supplier, when channels found - exit to main menu and enter 1570 and turn the Key Emu to ON >, exit out to Sly 2 (Ireland) sly Sports 1 (UK) let it update, for more guidance click on the link Starview 2nd line at the bottom of post.
