Hi guys ... well as you probably know, there was an Xbox LIVE Ban Hammer very recently ... has it finished ?

Is it safe to access LIVE again ??

Also, is it safe to get the new Dashboard update ?

btw I have a modded console, which I think has the iXtreme 1.4 firmware ...

No its very dangerous until you have read though the other threads that have already be been posted. Try the large thread thats very near the top at the moment reguarding the ban hammer titled NOVEMBER 2008 BAN WAVE !!! - no posts of "Oh POOR ME I'M BANNED", Stop it already, just the facts.

as far as i know the update is harmless to your 360 as it is just updating the start up interface the new dashboard. apart from that i dont really know if its safe to play online but you were in the same boat as me, as soon i my mate got caught up in the recent banning, i didnt even touch my 360 even with no wireless on. Now from quite a few friends it is safe to update but i reckon that MS may bring back the banhammer a few weeks after this update.
