In my region and time zone (gmt-5) there is a store called gamestop. If you preordered your copy of call of duty world at war they give you an unlock code for the M1A1 rifle 64 levels early. I got the code and it downloaded as a addon in the PSN store, went to make a custom class and the stupid gun is still locked. Has anyone preordered theirs and actually redeemed the gun. LMAO and calling activision is a dam joke. the computer responds "Sorry for the inconvenience good bye" they all redirect you to their stupid online forum.
Same with LIVE. It's unlocked, but you can't use it for a custom, and kills/headshots still don't count until you hit level 65. I preorded from Gamestop, so I could get in to the beta. And they didn't send the m1a1 code until the day before the actual game was available.
I'm so tired of EB game's crap, I wish there was a store that could compete with them where I live. They just don't give a rats ass about anything because they know they got us by the balls.
dam, i didn't even check that thanks people. I have to wait anyway. My ps3 can't display anything and the usb ports won't work. I has to be sent in, but i am definitely checking that when it gets back. Though whats the point if you can't use it in a custom class or at least for challenges. thanks again.
