HUGE file after encoding

Whenever I try to encode an AVI file using TMPGEnc,the finished file is between 3 and 5 gigs. It started as a 700 meg AVI file. Can someone please tell me why this is happening and how I can change it. Thx very much

You're using too high of a bitrate. Use the templates in the project wizard instead. On stage 4/5 you can specify exactly what size you want.
