Benq Drive Swap Question

I successfully reflashed my Benq and it works perfect.

I reflashed my buddies Benq using the same software tool-set, but when I plug his drive into my xbox to verify, I get a strange light-brown window that says "To play this disk, put it into an xbox 360....."

Is this because I the drive key's doesn't match between my xbox 360 and my buddie's benq drive?
