I found this on youtube, and I don't know if this is for real or just some teenager trying to rip off people.

The unban hardware is being sold for US$30.
Has anyone tried this? Is this for real?

I don't know things like that show up all the time they get as much money as they can then they shut down there website and dissapear. I am trying with my team to figure out ow Microsoft is banning if any one has any extra 1 month codes it would be helpful,

Wouldn't it be easier to just put together a Linux Proxy Server that opens every packet (that xbox 360 sends out to the web) and replaces the serial number A with B? Where A is your original xbox 360 serial and B is the serial that you want xbox live to see your console as???
Or does xbox 360 encrypt all packets before transmitting them?

I'd be careful with that site until it's confirmed by a lot of other people. It looks like it changes your serial number....interesting...

It's not real. Just searched it over on xboxhacker. Those guys are making fun of it.
Were it real, news of it would have hit every site the day it was posted to YouTube(18th).

Absolutely, phony. I tried to post a comment and it wont let be, why? Because he's set it so he can filter the comments. And he's basically using fake bot Youtube accounts to post some of the comments that say
"Wow Awesome" and
"Shoot, just bought a new 360...
Can't wait to get this for my old 360,Awesome Tool, Can't wait to use it,Much love, thanks"
This is clearly a scam...incredible how gullible some people are. lol, if someone comes out with something like this you better believe it'll be the guys are Xecutor or C4eva or somebody like that.

ontopic:this indeed looks like a scam the thing is we wouldnt want people to unban there 360s as if they could microsoft would have to find another method to punish those it nows have modded and you can bet it wont be as nice as a ban (lets face it 360s are cheap enough to just buy a new one)

They are lazy, but there's nobody else that's really in the modding scene that is interested in the 360 as much so I doubt it that they'd release something like a unbanner. Just because I called them lazy doesn't really mean that they don't have the drive and will to do something new, I'm just saying they've been lazy lately and aren't really intuned to the 360 as much as say how they were with the Xbox 1.

Use caution when buying this. It looks like a scam to me. There is not one negative comment on the You Tube link below. There is not one question about this item either. I would wait awhile before buying it.

LOL! Do they realize that just because there's no negative comments doesn't mean a damn thing. The guy set the comments to filter, for those not knowing what that is, he only allows the comments he wants. Try to make a comment on it and it wont let you. As I said before he probably made a bunch of fake youtube accounts and gave himself good comments+feedback. I can't believe how gullible people are when it's obvious this is a hot steaming crock!

Another thing to add here. Have anybody seen the banned Xbox 360 to be turned on? He only shows the console that he is supposedly fixing. Also, there is a cut in the video when he is using the computer, who guarantees that the console was not changed, if the first one showed was the one that was really banned?
I woudn't spend a penny in that until it is 100% proven to be working.

Wow that's exactly what i've been saying, if you're going to mod use common sense. Know how everything works before you attempt to modify it and know exactly what you're doing. I've been saying this for years.
Too bad the majority lacks common sense or the ability to think before they have to deal with the consequences.

There's also the chance that Micro$oft finally started implementing some of those security upgrades. Could be why so many people are being pop'd with the hammer.

I looked at the site and got to say a little skeptical. The only thing this company has been able to produce is a homebrew card that lets you run old school games (NES, SNES, N64 ect) on your 360. This sounds a little out of their league. I vote scam.
