If you want to record the odd film, football match etc, then an 8MB USB stick will do the job, this will hold a few movies, matches etc. Just Delete what you dont want & record again. If you want to record hours & hours of programmes, then you`ll need an External HDD.
Either way, you need the USB stick to put the firmware on the b0x.

If you click on eamos library under my sig & open "The box super USB" folder. The firmware you need is The b0x Super USB_v1.02_beta.BIN

Theres also a first time/help set up guide in there.
Best of luck.

Try this & see if it works,
On the EPG, highlight the programme you want to record, then press the red button. The EPG will show a b0x around the programme you want to record. You can skip through the EPG to choose what you want to record. Are you using an 8 MB usb stick?

Good morning, gentle folk. Sorting The box super for a friend. Saw Noelyf's post saying what's needed is The b0x Super USB_v1.02_beta.BIN in Eamo's library. However, all I see for the box super in the all in one firmware loader folder are .zip .exe and .txt files. Where is The b0x Super USB_v1.02_beta.BIN please? Tanx in advance....(",)**

This is what you want, and you will need to download Winrar and install it to your PC to unzip it, that is also in Eamo's.

Listen golass, right let's get this correct this time, you are currently posting on a thread relating to The Box Super USB, now it is a bin file that is required for that box, and it is loaded via a USB pendrive stuck in the USB port at the back of the box. So I suspect going off what you posted that it is The Box Super that you are talking about, now that is an all in one loader and it is here >>>>

http://www.4shared.com/file/73849126/d49...rified=21830a3b

Now you do not look for any BIN file you just press DOWNLOAD okay, and it is better to stick to a thread that is relating to the box that you have a problem or a query about. Please do feel free to let me know which box that you do have, for instance, looking at the box from the front, Starview 1 it will have Starview at the top left corner - Starview 2 it will say The Box at the top left corner - Starview 3 it will say The Box Super at top left corner - Starview 4 it will say The Box Super USB and it is all BLACK, so all in all they are pretty easy to identify.

It is the Box Super. I pressed download. It flashed but did not load. Over the day yesterday, I flashed it five times to no avail. It's my friend's box and my sister got me codes instead. done.
