Yesterday, I upgraded to version 5.02 by accident; and after seeing what I did, I decided to downgraded it back to 5.00 M33-3 with my Datel Battery that has worked fine in the past.
But this time, at the end around 99% complete; it comes to the following:
"copying registry....System.dreg"
The PSP then shuts down.
Does anybody know if I should reinstall the magic stick files on the memory card. I need to know, because I will need to buy a memory card reader from office depot or wal-mart tomorrow.
Thanks,

yes. you're definitely going to have to do a full reinstall of the cfw.
When you go to OFW it's the same as when you get it out of the box from sony.
Re-make your magic mem stick, stick your jigkick in, and redo it :P
Hopefully a 5.02 m33 comes out soon. Would be nice.
*Crosses Fingers*

After I go to American History and Archery class today, I will be heading by one of my electronic providers; where I will buy a memory card reader to fix this situation I'm in.
Thanks,

Why do you need to buy a memory card reader?
Just plug your psp into your computer using a usb cable. You can write the files yourself and save some money :)

My psp can't read it at this time. Because I accidentally upgraded to official version 5.02 and there is no recovery menu.

So you're not able to turn your psp on at all and get to your XMB?
Recovery menu has nothing to do with writing files to your memory stick.

That right, but if it was semi-bricked I could still access the recovery menu; if I was still on 5.00 m33-3, but I accidentally upgraded to the official version 5.02.
thanks for all the help,

wow dude, my bad. Totally missed the part about it being bricked.
Yeah, reinstalling the CFW ='s easy solution to your problem.
Make sure you let me know when everything turns out alright, or if you run into more problems :)

Adding on to the information already supplied... system.dreg and system.ireg are basically just the information for your system settings, network setup, etc. (basically your flash1 files) So i would suggest after running pandora to bring yourself back to custom firmware that you make a quick stop in your recovery menu and format your flash1.

I'm sorry, I got this to work on Tuesday night. I bought a Sony HG memory card reader; and reinstalled the files for one of the members from this site. It worked and I have now Upgraded it back to 5.00 M33-3.
Thanks for all the given help,
Varnage
