Just curious about why you want to edit the sound of PSP games.

If you have a pretty good reason I might actually do some research on it :)

(Which I would suggest you do as well as I'm sure there's been people who've dove into the topic)

Let me know what you have in mind.

Sorry, it might not be a good reason for you but the game Gundam Vs. Gundam has sound effects that doesn't belong to some mechs. Example with Wing Gundam Zero, it's buster rifle uses sound effects from Gundam Seed series instead of the original sound effects from Gundam Wing series.

In other words, the sound effects are not accurate corresponding to each Gundam series.

I know someone from 4ch replaced background musics but i'm just not too sure about the sound effects.

you have to decompile the game, extract the sound files you want to swap, and inject them with the ones you want in there. Cant remember what program does it anymore, been away from the scene way too long...think umdgen might be able to do it but not 100% sure if that was the program.

Man, sounds like a lot of work, but I respect your thoroughness.
Also as much as I don't care for anime that much, Gundam Wing is one of the few I enjoy just as much as any other excellently made TV show.

I'll do a little lookin around. Plus you have me interested in downloading the game. Hopefully it's as good as the SNES game "Gundam Wing: Endless Duel"
