hey guys I just followed some stupid directions on a youtube video showing how to install a theme but it bricked my PSP.
I have custom firmware 4.01m33-2 and I just need two original files from G:\vsh\resource because I forgot to make a backup.
The files are "topmenu_plugin.rco" and "system_plugin_fg.rco" if anyone can upload their original files and give me a link i'd really appreciate it.

Easy fix. Just reinstall your CFW like you did the first time you put it on there.
Fresh start = no more problems.

Thanks I'm glad it's not that serious, but I forgot the exact installer I used and I deleted it from my memory card. So if anyone can just copy and paste their original files and send it to me thatd be great.

Here's an upload of the best magic mem stick maker that I've found:

Just make sure at the very end you're asked:
"Write ABS Sector 0x10 to 0x1E7
Are You Sure ?[Y]"
If you don't get asked that, then your magic mem stick wasn't made right.
Btw, to avoid the hassle, if you have an xp machine you can use to do this, use it.
Vista can be kind of a whore bag when it comes to making the magic mem stick.

I cant actually access my memory card because my psp is bricked so I don't know how I could install it? Can someone just send me those two files it takes literally 5 minutes..
Start ur psp and hold the right trigger, then go to the advanced option and press x, then press Toggle USB (flash 0)(Make sure your psp is connected to your PC via USB), then when it pops up on ur screen go to the "vsh" folder then to the "resource" folder then copy "topmenu_plugin.rco" and "system_plugin_fg.rco" and paste them both on your desktop. Upload it on megaupload or rapidshare and post the links.

I'm going to assume you didn't install your own custom firmware from that last post...
Read the tutorials on how to install CFW, follow the instructions, and your system will in fact be fixed.

Yes, I'm so thick that I knew exactly how to fix the problem and saved you from screwing around with .rco files.
