To Flash or not to Flash?

Hey guys, I am currently all set up to flash my 360 Hitatchi drive with ixtreme 1.4. But i am not sure if i should wait till the development of the new ixtreme which i have heard is in the works.
Should i wait till this happens or just hit up the flash with ixtreme 1.4.
Also does it matter if i flash the drive after the installation of NXE.

why would you wait to flash it ?? there's no guarantee a new iXtreme will be released... it could be weeks or months or never...

i'd flash it now then *IF* a new version is released you can install it when that happens...

Yea, you could be waiting forever, I'm currently trying to figure out myself if it would be wise to flash now or wait. But I'm leaning towards flashing just so I can get back into the many games I miss.
