Hi All,
my psp has been working perfectly fine since ive had it with the CFW 3.71 M33.
Recently, its asked me to update to the 4.01 M33 which i did... again it worked perfectly fine after this..
but now when i try swiching my psp on, the power light stays green and nothing happens, screen stays black.. the green light stays on until i take out the battery.. but when i put it back in the green light comes back on and nothing happens...
what could be wrong?
thanks in advance

Try pushing your screen brightness button.

Not if your sound is turned down...you never said anything about it in your original post so i figured maybe its just a bug that people used to experience in the past with their screens.
I'm guessing you tried the brightness button and didnt work...are you able to access recovery mode by holding the right trigger button upon startup? Do you own a pandora battery? is your psp a slim or phat?

is it by chance that you hardmodded/softmodded your battery to make it a pandora Battery?
You can change it back if it is softmodded, but if it is hard modded, you need a new one.

Now you reminded me... for some strange reason i accidentally selected some option which was related to making my battery into a pandora battery, but as it started loading i quickly switched off my psp to stop it.....
how would i work out if my baterry is softmodded or hardmodded?
thanks

if you switched it off while it was loading then you bricked your psp... you'll have to use your battery and mms to bring your psp back to life.
