Hi,

Please forgive me if this has been brought up, but I couldn't find it with the search fumction.

I have a Wii that was bought in China about 10 months ago. It is a Japanese Wii modded, but I don't know what mod chip is used. It has been working great and still does. But, some new games don't sem to work. The game will come up on the channel, but the you click on it, it'll spin to the next screen. when you click to start the game, it goes to a black screen with some Japanese words. I can't read it so I don't know what it says.

One thing I read is that I need to update the firmware by using a Japanese copy of Wii Fit. Will that work? How do I find out what firmware I have?

Any help would be appreciated.
