I downloaded a game from a torrent the other day. I have custom firmware and all that snazz, but I have questions on putting downloaded games there. Is the game supposed to be one whole file? I downloaded one and its like 20 different files, many which are zip files, which looks like when you unzip them they are iso files. How do I put them back together? How do I put them on the PSP? I thank you in advance for any help.

What you have there is whats called a split volume archive. That is what most games that come from torrents are about-rather than downloading one giant file, its split into several smaller files that are can be downloaded much faster..All you have to do is right-click on the first folder in the series (usually its the one that has the extension of 'r.00') and select extract. It will combine the remaining archives for you automatically, and the end result should be a single iso/cso that you will then transfer to your memory stick.
The main program I've seen that multiarchives is WinRAR.
You can download a trial version of the latest winrarfrom here.
When you install it, make sure you keep the context menu integration. Then right click on any of the .r## files and do either "Extract Here" or "Extract to <Files name>" which will make a folder the same as the rar's name
Ex: If you downloaded Crisis Core look for a file like CrisisCore.r00. Right click, do "Extract to CrisisCore".
It'll make a folder called CrisisCore and inside it will be your files.
As far as putting the game onto your psp, the .iso goes right into your ISO folder on your memory stick. Or, if you download a program like PSPISO Compressor v1.4 (you can download it here) then you can turn that .iso into a compressed .cso and save yourself some space. I've seen compression range from saving 5% space to saving upwards of 60% space.
.cso files work the exact same as .iso files. They just save you some space on your memory stick. Helps a lot when you want to put multiple games on there.
The only reason to not use compression is if after compressing it your game becomes noticeably laggy. At that point you can use the same tool to decompress it and you'll just run it as a .iso instead :)
