The tut says you should cut the system off before you type in "2" then you cut the system back on after waiting 10 to 15 seconds. Read the tut carefully and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Good Luck.

With the MS25 I've gotten it to work by not waiting 10 to 15 seconds. Cut it off and then cutting it right back on. See if that helps you get past that step.

What I wrote was to NOT wait 10 seconds.
Cut it off and then right back on.
It should then start flashing the banks.
Give it a go.

I would.
I would copy all of the info from the memory stick into a folder for that 360 on your pc.
Then format the memory stick and rerun iprep.

However I don't use the usb memory stick method so I can't really answer the question properly. I use the floppy disk method so I just copy the info to my pc and give the floppy to the end user for them to keep.

Does anyone who uses a usb memory stick to flash know if you can leave it be or what you should removed or if it's better to just format and start over?

Thanks

That sucks.
Are you asking if flashing can cause the RROD?

No doubt that it wasn't the flashing.

Wow, Samsung MS25's are the easiest drives to flash, incredible that you're having issues!
