Okay, Im not sure where to put this forum but I need it for my 360. Okay I have an HD VGA Cable. I also have a Logitech X-540 5.1 Surround sound speakers. It came with a Stereo to 3.5mm plug adapter. It has a special function to convert 2.1 into 5.1 called "Matrix". all it really does is force the sound through the rear speakers...

But it also has 3 3.5mm plugs, Left and Right, Rear Left and Rear right, Subwoofer and Center.

Okay a final thing which is the whole reason I started this thread.

The HD VGA cable has:
A VGA Output
XBOX360 Input
Coaxial Output
AV Stereo Output

I know that it is impossible to Directly make PROPER 5.1 from the AV stereo. So what I was wondering if I can convert Coaxial to the 3 3.5mm plugs or 6 AV outputs? I know this is really confusing but just think of it as I want to have TRUE 5.1 without having to Bypass a new product that I dont have...

The X-540 speakers use FDD2 (Frequency Directed Dual Driver) technology to produce a uniform soundfield anywhere in the room. Immerse yourself in the game using the selectable matrix mode, which automatically creates 5.1 surround sound from common 2-channel stereo sources. The compact satellites are wall-mountable, and a special clip lets you place the center channel speaker on top of most flat-panel monitors to reduce desktop clutter. Use the wired control center to control volume and bass levels or connect headphones to enjoy your games and music privately.
If i were you i would use a rca audio to headphone jack adaptor. Looks like this.

So audio out from tv ----> rca to headphone adaptor -----> Logitech x 540.

It says it only needs 2 channels to produce 5.1 surround sound so this way would work.
