Hello, I have been google-ing a lot about buying an XBOX360 and what to look for on the sticker with the serial numbers? Couldn't find anything, I was wondering what do I look for in a system? I saw two different dates that was made, June 10, 2008 and July 28, 2008, is there a later one I should get or what other things do i need to find on that sticker? thank you very much

there's nothing to look for ... in the past it was possible to shop around and find low lot #'s to hopefully avoid buying a liteon..

that was months ago and in my opinion its no longer possible... you have a 99% chance of getting an xbox with a liteon drive if you buy it brand new... the only way you can avoid liteon with a new xbox is by accident or luck..

Or buying used and requesting a Core/Non-HDMI model, or older PRO model. That's how I got lucky with getting a Hitachi from GameStop.
