Ok just upgraded my psp to 5.00 m33 and now it just resets the psp when Suikoden II is loaded which I converted from an ISO using IceTea. It worked perfectly on the previous cfw. Is it possible that it is no longer compatible with the new cfw?
Suggestions?
Thanks,

Yep. your problem is your new POPS from your upgrade is most likely incompatible.

Here's a damn near full tutorial I wrote for someone else the other day.

Make sure to read ALL the posts I made as I cover different topics at different points.
Also, I would suggest changing your PSX to PSP Eboot convert to RS GUI PopStationMD
The short end of it is you'll need to install popsloader with all the pops (which I supply a link for) and then you consult the PSX on PSP pops guide website (also included in that post)
If you hit any snags, holler at me :)
Good luck

Ok I installed the popsloader with all the pops. I then tried using RS GUI PopStationMD to make the eboot. It stated that the files cygwin1.dll and cygz.dll were missing.
I found those files on the internet downloaded them and installed them.
Then in RS GUI PopStationMD I selected 1 game CD and selected the appropriate Game ID for the game which is SLUS00958 and a NTSC-U game. It then stated that
Invalid number of arguments
Usage: popstation title gamecode compressionlevel file.iso
So what should I do now? Can I fix this or should I try another popsloader?
Thanks

Ok I tried PSX2PSP v1.2 - Popstation GUI and it said it couldn't open BASE.PBP. Perhaps I have a virus on my computer?

I believe the BASE.PBP is refering to Hot Shot Golf 2 EBOOT that is renamed to BASE.PBP you might want to try and find yourself a hot shot golf 2 eboot and then rename it or try using icetea which i believe doesnt need the BASE.PBP

For the love of god do not use PSX to PSP. That program is terrible.
You're most likely not doing your settings right for RS GUI.
Make sure you're running v3 (to my knowledge its the most up to date).
What game are you trying to make an eboot of?
Did you download the game or rip it yourself?
Are you adding in your own custom graphics?
Let me know and I'll get you a solution.

Suikoden II in NTSC-U format. I downloaded it as my PAL copy is too scratched up and will not play. I'm going with no images. I've tried it just now and it's working fine. I think there's a malware virus on my computer causing havoc.
Which is quite strange as I'm running adblock, noscript with firefox. I think I got it from switching the rendering engine to IE to get an archive off some file sharing site when I was trying to get the popsloader when the page wouldn't display properly.
Well anyway thanks so much for your help guys. It's working perfectly now but in the meantime I now have to try and remove some Vundo Adware heheh
Thanks again

1)Just for clarification, running it under 3.9 pops appears to be the best.
2)for your spyware busting needs, I'd suggest using Super AntiSpyware, Spybot S&D, and AdAware along with ensuring you have an anti-virus (exampe: AVG).
3)Make sure you do all cleaning in safe mode.
4)don't forget to turn off system restore before you clean it.
Later! :-D

Yeah I've got SuperAntispyware and Avast Antivirus installed. So I should restart my computer press f8 to go into safe mode and log in as an admin and run everything from there?

Haha well I've learnt my lesson. I removed it not in safe mode. It gave me a blue screen of death. But I've restarted and the computer's fine. Unsurprisingly the virus is still there. So now I'm going to turn off system restore and boot into safe mode heheh.
