HPIZ350 error?

I'm trying to fix some problems with an HP Pavilion a545c running Windows XP SP2. It belongs to a friend's dad. Apparantely they tried to install iTunes on the computer, but it made the computer freeze. They did a System Restore, but since they've never set a restore point I think it restored all the way back to the default configuration. I installed Windows Updates, but I'm still getting this one error message when I try to open folders on here. It says "Please wait while Windows configures HPIZ350," then it starts popping up with 18 different "Internal Error 2908" messages. When you finally click through all of those, it gives this screen.

I've been searching and I haven't found any helpful information about fixing this problem. I can't even figure out for sure if it's a legitimate process or not. Can anyone help?
