Hi peeps, flashed a 360 for a friend and it all went fine. I tested the 360 after flashing and it worked with backups, originals and dvds. After taking the 360 home he called me later and said that his original games would not work on the 360 but backups and dvds were still fine.

I now have the 360 back to check and sure enough backups are fine but if you put an original game in it just throws up the "put this disc in a 360" screen.

I have tried searching the forums and cant seem to find any answers regarding this, plenty on backups not working but cant find nowt on originals not working. I was simply thinking bad flash maybe but would like a second opinion before i start stripping it again LoL.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance as always peeps. :)

Weird but could be the dvd-rom board. I'm sure someone else will come in here and post their same experience. I know some people have had this problem. If it plays backups and not originals, it's not the laser, it's the board.
